Sharon 'Susie" Lea McIntosh

Sharon Lea McIntosh, 78, of Jacksonville, AR passed away March 14, 2025. She was born to the late Jean Williams McIntosh and Robert E. McIntosh on July 5, 1946. She was affectionately named “Susie Q” by her family.

She was preceded in death by all of her siblings: Robert, Danny, Sam, Betty and their adopted brother, Benny. Susie was also preceded in death by her oldest son, Robert Earl Skinner, Jr.

She worked as a C.N.A. for many years and was a “tough lady” who fought until the end despite her many health issues. Susie collected angels and enjoyed decorating wedding cakes. Susie will be missed by her youngest son, Danny Skinner, and her “family” at Jacksonville Towers.

She will be laid to rest with her sister, Betty, in a private service at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. A celebration of life will be held later at Jacksonville Towers, 200 South Hospital Drive, Jacksonville, Arkansas.
