Shelia Ann Caudle

Listen to Obituary

Shelia Ann Caudle 9Smith). 66, of Mayflower, Arkansas, entered her heavenly home on August 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on October 20, 1959, in Turrell, Arkansas, to Frank and Earlene Smith.

She married the love of her life, Laney Caudle, at the young age of 16, and together they shared 50 wonderful years of marriage.  Their love and devotion to one another were evident throughout their lives.

Sheila's greatest joy in life was loving and caring for her family.  She treasured every moment spent with them and created a lifetime of memories through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.  She also shared a special bond with her faithful dog, Sophie, who was her constant shadow and loyal companion, always by her side.

Shelia had a passion for sewing, quilting, gardening, working in the yard, mowing, and caring for her flowers.  She found peace in being outdoors and especially loved the warmth of the sunshine.  She was known for her hardworking spirit, her caring heart, and her willingness to help others.  She never met a stranger and made everyone feel welcome.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Smith.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Laney Caudle; her two sons, Clinton (Melissa) Caudle of Greenbrier and Christopher (Shelby) Caudle of Conway; her beloved grandchildren, Oakley, Hartlee, Haven, Haizlee, and Rip; her mother, Earlene Smith of Conway; her brothers, Gary (Pattie) Smith of Conway and Mike (Natalie) Smith of Conway; her sister, Donna Sue Lawrence of Conway; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends, and her beloved dog, Sophie.

Sheila leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, hard work, and devotion to her family.  While her presence will be deeply missed, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.  Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of her Lord and Savior, reunited with those who have gone before her.
