Sherry Lynn Baker, 69 of Beebe, Arkansas, peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on June 24, 2025. Sherry was born on August 3, 1955, in Panama City, Florida to William and Mary Eckhardt. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she lived a life of faith, service, and devotion to family and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She married her high school sweetheart, Randal Joseph Baker, Sr on February 2, 1972, and together they raised 6 beautiful children. Above all, Sherry was a devoted and loving wife and mother pouring her heart into each child, offering them unwavering support, strength, and endless love. Her children always knew they were her greatest joy, making each feel like the only one. Her love multiplied time and time again as she served in various church callings. From early in life, she felt a deep calling to care for others. That passion led her to become a registered nurse, graduating from Baptist School of Nursing eventually earning her Master of Science Nursing from American Sentinel University. Sherry cared for others always offering love, compassion and peace in their moments of need. Her testimony of our Savior was forever strengthening, and she lived each day with love, forgiveness, and faith. She most enjoyed having her family together for small moments and memories.

Sherry is survived by her loyal husband of 52 years, Randal Baker, Sr, brother, Randall (Iva) Eckhardt, children, Heather (Marcus) Chapin, Randal (Brittney) Baker, Jonathan (Brooke) Baker, Adam (Alisha) Baker, Zachary (Millie) Baker, 12 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Her parents William and Mary Eckhardt; brothers Howard-Ray Barth, Andrew Eckhardt, and William Eckhardt, Jr.; and son James “Matt” Baker proceeded her to our Savior’s arms.

A viewing will take place June 26th 6-8PM at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home 404 W Dewitt Henry Dr Beebe, AR 72012. Funeral services will be held on June 27th at 2PM at the Jacksonville-Ward Church located at 6110 T P White Dr Jacksonville, AR 72076. Sherry will be remembered by her gentle spirit, healing hands, and deep love for her family, her patients, and our Savior, Jesus Christ.
