Sherry Lynn Landon

Listen to Obituary

Sherry Landon, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on May 3, 2026, to stand beside her loving husband in the Kingdom of Heaven. Her life was a reflection of warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for those around her.

Sherry was known as a friendly face who could brighten any room. Through her many years of dedicated service with Arkansas Hospice, she brought comfort, compassion, and dignity to countless families during their most difficult times. Even after retirement, her caring nature never slowed—she devoted her days to being a full-time “G-ma,” a role she treasured deeply.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures: fishing trips with her husband, cheering on Razorback football, and spending time playing with her beloved dogs. Her laughter, gentle spirit, and genuine care for others made her a cherished presence in her community and among all who knew her.

She is survived by her sister, Melissa Moss (Sam); her children, Jared Bailey (Sheri), Jay Bailey, Sonya McConnell (Garrett), and Tanya Clark; her grandchildren, Jaycey, Kylah, Gunnar, Adrian, Andrea, Brittany, Jared, Gracie, Jessiah, James, Adelyn, Ethan, Luke, Lorelei, and Tori ; and her great-grandchildren, Colt, Kimber, Karlee, Oakley, Noah, Bentley, kendrick, Siobhan, Emelia, and Molly.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe Landon; her parents, Evelyn and J.C. Langston; her brother, Victor Langston; and her sister, Martha Langston.

Sherry Landon’s warmth, faith, and love will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life. Her memory will be cherished and honored by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on through her family and all whose lives she brightened.

The visitation for Sherry will be held on May 8, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Sulphur Springs Missionary Baptist Church located at 4350 Malvern Ave, Hot Springs, Arkansas.
