Shirley Bohannon, 73, of Bryant passed away Friday, December 12, 2008. She worked for Providential Insurance Company for 20 years and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Sherwood.
She is survived by her son, James Timothy Higgins and wife, Karla; two granddaughters, Shelby Elise Higgins and Regan Alane Higgins, all of Bryant; and sister, Bonnie Barringer, of Douglasville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Bohannon; sister, Florence Pillow; two brothers, Bob and Babe Pillow and her parents, Bill and Dona Pillow.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Parkinson Disease Association, 210 Woodbine Street, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71901 or First Baptist Church of Bryant, New Construction Fund, P.O. Box 267, Bryant, Arkansas 72089.
Funeral services will be held 7:00 P.M., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. till service time at the funeral home. Burial will be 1:00 P.M., Wednesday at Pine Knot Cemetery in Paragould, Arkansas. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
