Shirley Burks

Shirley Burks 71, was born October 24, 1940 and went to be with our Lord at 10:30 p.m. April 13, 2012 by her side was her best friend and husband James Burks of Little Rock. Shirley was a loving mother of four sons and one daughter Paul and Kathy Burks of Little Rock, Jesse and Lisa Burks of Fayetteville, Jimmy and Julie Burks of Little Rock, Johnny and Sandy Burks of Benton, Pat Bowden and Dennis Bullard of Searcy. Shirley leaves grandchildren Josh Bowden, Shane Bowden, Kevin Burks, Keith Burks, Jason Burks, Stephen Burks, Elizabeth Burks, Cindy Haynes, Morgan Burks, Madeline Burks, Hanna Burks, JJ Burks, and Damion Burks, she is also survived by a sister Kathy Jones, along with ten great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Francis Misenheimer, brothers Eugene and Bob Misenheimer, and a sister Jackie Bryant.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Heritage Baptist Church in Little Rock, entombment will follow at Forest Hills Mausoleum in Alexander.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 16, 2012 at Huson Funeral Home in Little Rock.
