Shirley Ann Burrow

Shirley Burrow, age 86 of Conway, Arkansas was taken home by our Lord on September 20 th , 2026. She was born on September 11, 1940 in Taylorsville, MS to David and Erma Lee Ainsworth.

Shirley has been proceeded in death by her parents, David and Erma Lee Ainsworth, Sister, Joyce Hill, and grandson Austin Burrow.

Shirley graduated from McDonogh High School in 1959. She and her husband Burt Burrow were married on July 12, 1959 at Franklin Avenue Baptist Church in New Orleans, LA. They have two son’s Keith Burrow (wife Carla Burrow) and Cliff Burrow (wife Tonya Burrow), two grandchildren Angel Penny and Austin Burrow, 1 great granddaughter Layla Penny.

Most of Shirley’s career was as the school secretary at public schools. Her family enjoyed gospel music when she was a young girl. They attended many Sunday afternoons at gospel singings at different churches in MS. Shirley played the piano for children’s choirs at several churches. She enjoyed many camping trips with family especially after retirement. She loved reading on many different topics. She enjoyed family time and cooking for everyone. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Conway, AR.
