Shirley Ann Dearman

Shirley Ann Puckett Dearman, formally of Sheridan Arkansas our beloved sister, mother, and “MiMi” has transitioned to her eternal home on Saturday November 01, 2025. She was born May 23, 1935 in Macedonia, Arkansas daughter of the late Fred J. Puckett and Ellen Nixon Puckett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, one sister Corrine Puckett Winston of Sheridan, two brothers, Pete Puckett of Dollarway, and William Puckett of Rison, and her husband James Franklin Dearman. 

Shirley is survived by one sister Bonnie Sue Appling of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; her son Donnie (Angie) Bonner; three daughters Janice (Nelson) Brumley, DeAnna (David) Fuell, and two step daughters Julie (Danny) Mize and Vickie (Todd) Palmer with a continuing legacy of grandchildren Crystal, Jonathan, Christopher, Laura, Aimee, Andre’a, Brian, Jerry, Kathryn, Shawna, Kristine; twenty two great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

Thank you to Benchmark Home Health and Hospice. Lastly, a special heartfelt thank you to a wonderful care giver and friend that became a part of the family: “Auntie” Carol Barber. Visitation will be on Friday November 07, 2025 at Smith Family Funeral Home in Sherwood, Arkansas starting at 11:30am with service to follow. Graveside service to be at Rest Hills Cemetery at 2:00pm
