Shirley D. Guthrie, 75, of Sherwood, passed away September 20, 2010. Born in Little Rock to Kenneth and Maudie Sledge Cartt, she was retired from Southwestern Bell and was a member of Northside Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her husband, Don Guthrie; son, Kenneth Ray Scott and wife, Barbara of Malvern; stepson, Donnie Guthrie and wife, Joantha of Clinton, Washington; and stepdaughter, Debra Derrick and husband, Chris of Darlington, South Carolina.
Services will be held on Friday, September 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Rev. Dave Cypert and Rev. Robert Harrison, followed by interment at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
