Shirley A Jackson

Shirley left her earthly body and gained eternal rest on April 11, 2026, at the age of 86. She was a resident of Evergreen Nursing home at the time of her passing where she received the best of care.

Shirley was born to Raymond and Ellen Adams Love in Rector, AR on July 6, 1939. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Charles “Rusty” Jackson and one son Brent Jackson (Nancy) of Benton. Also, sisters Sandra Love Barnett (Curtis) and Sharon Love Harris (Dee) all of Benton.

She was Mamaw to grandchildren Aaron Jackson and Samantha Jackson. She is also survived by nephew Cody Burnett (Kayla), nieces Brandy Harris Woods and Mandy Harris Nichols, five great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and three great nieces.

Shirley was an LPNT where she enjoyed taking care of patients at Benton Services Center. Shirley also worked at the Union Bank of Benton before her early retirement to become a full-time homemaker. She was of the United Methodist faith. Shirley could light up a room with her beautiful smile and loving, caring personality. She was obsessed with Elvis, and her favorite days were the days that “Elvis” visited Landmark Living Center and Evergreen.

We would like to thank her caregivers from Pleasant Hills, Landmark Lifestyles, Evergreen Nursing Home and Affinity Hospice. It takes very special people to commit their lives to taking care of others. We were fortunate to have so many of these special people surrounding our family throughout the past three years.

A private Memorial Service will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery on Monday, April 20th at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, Shirley would love to know that donations were gifted to Alzheimer’s Arkansas 201 Markham Center Dr, Little Rock, AR 72205 to provide support for families navigating this terrible disease.
