Shirley Ann Makamson Kelly, 76, of Little Rock, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2011. She was born in Alligator, Mississippi to Otis W. and Corrie Nail Makamson.
Preceded in death by her father, her husband, J.C. Kelly, Jr., son, Otis Clyde Kelly and two grandchildren, she is survived by her son, John Clifton Kelly III; daughters, Sandra A. Jones (Doug) and Karen French (Roy); mother, Corrie Makamson; sisters, Margaret Sanders (Rodney) of Bryant, Mary Patricia Peacock (Wayne) of Greenwood, Mississippi and Joyce Randall of Batesville; brother, Otis Wayne Makamson of Greenwood; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday, September 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Dr. Bob Dunaway, followed by interment at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
