Shirley Maxiell

Shirley Marie Maxiell, 65, of Sherwood passed away on June 15, 2019.  She was born on April 10, 1954 to the late Willie Brown and Alberta Brown Boca in Forrest City, Arkansas.  Shirley worked for the State of Arkansas for twenty-eight years.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband, James Maxiell; children, Caberta Bates (Leonard), Shaunta Brown (Timothy), William Arthur Belmont, III, and Patricia Maxiell; grandchildren, Timothy Brown, Jr., William Arthur Belmont, IV,  Stephani Belmont, Jason Maxiell, I; great-grandchild, Jason Maxiell, II; siblings, Juanita Hodges, Gloria Mays, and Leodis Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.  Shirley was a loving mother and grandmother who will always be loved and dearly missed.

A Visitation will be held at 9:30 AM, Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 1017 Ray Road, Jacksonville, AR 72076 with a Funeral Service following at 10:30 AM.  Burial will be at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in North Little Rock.
