Sidney Ruth Burgess, 80, of Cabot, Arkansas passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017. She was born to Lester and Lucille Ross on January 12, 1937.
Sidney was a loving mother and devoted wife. She and John were married for 42 years. Sidney retired from Remington Arms Ammunition Plant after working there for 16 years. Sidney is a member of Campground Union Church in Cabot.
She is survived by her four children; Tony Cathey (Sherry), Terry Cathey, Tracy Martineau (Nicky), and Phyllis Childers, two brothers; Robert Ross and Jerry Ross, eleven grandchildren; Nicky Jr., Brittany, Jennifer, Greg, Ashley, Amber, David, Daniel, Christopher, Nicholas, and Cassidy, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband John; infant daughter; sister, Norma Ross, and her parents.

Family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Campground Union Church in Cabot, Arkansas, with burial at Sylvania Cemetery.
