Simon K. Kiremerwa

Simon K. Kiremerwa, a resident of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025. He was born at Mulago Hospital, in Kampala, Uganda, East Africa to Dr. and Mrs. Daudi N. Kiremerwa. 

He went to school in Uganda after which he moved to the United States of America where he attended Elmhurst University in Illinois, pursuing a degree in chiropractic. Afterwards he lived and worked in Chicago, Illinois but eventually moved to Little Rock, Arkansas to live closer to some of his family members. 

As a Christian, he attended church regularly. He enjoyed reading, music, dance, soccer, travelling and cultural events. He loved his family and friends and often entertained them with stories about current events, world history, civics and sports. 

Simon is survived by his brother, Jim; sisters: Marjorie and Racheal; many nieces and nephews as well as a number of grand-nieces and nephews. 

Although he has departed from this world, his family, friends, coworkers, and caregivers at UAMS, Baptist Health, Chi St. Vincent, CARTI, Arkansas Urology, The Springs of John Barrow Health & Rehab, and many other caregivers will remember him lovingly. 

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. Little Rock, AR.

Dear brother Simon, you are greatly missed. May you rest in peace and find comfort and protection from our Eternal Father, God, knowing that you are embraced by the love of a family once again.
