Skyler Renee’ Landreth, age 21, of Benton, Arkansas, left this world far too soon on November 8, 2025. Born on August 30, 2004, Skyler was a bright, creative, and deeply caring young woman whose curiosity and compassion touched everyone who knew her.
She attended both Bryant High School and Sheridan High School, where her inquisitive spirit and love of learning always stood out. Skyler had a gift for digging into the truth—she loved research and had a special interest in stories that connected people. Her dream was to one day work in funeral service, a calling that reflected her empathy and desire to help others during life’s most difficult moments.
Skyler’s heart was as big as her imagination. She adored her cats and loved spending hours designing worlds in The Sims. She had a vintage soul and could often be found thrifting for unique treasures that spoke to her personality. Music was always close by—whether she was singing along, lost in her headphones, or sharing a favorite song with friends.
Her fascination with science, especially the human body, revealed her endless curiosity about how life works. Skyler loved going to the movies and spending time with friends, making memories filled with laughter and light. Her beautiful smile and kind nature could brighten even the darkest day.
Skyler leaves behind her loving mother, Temeeka Steward; grandmother, Tammie Carpenter; aunt, Rikki Bowman; and uncle, D’Mar Holmes. She will forever be cherished by her best friends, Makila Marie and bella ann, along with a host of family and friends who will hold her memory close in their hearts.
She was welcomed into Heaven by her grandparents, Roxane Holmes, Big Nana, and Big Papa, whose love and influence shaped the gentle, giving spirit she carried throughout her life.
In lieu of flowers, please consider make a memorial donation to your local Humane Society for the care of cats, in Skyler's honor.
Skyler’s time here was short, but her impact was lasting. She will be remembered for her warmth, her curiosity, and the love she so freely gave to others.
