Stanley P. Burry, 72, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008. He was born August 5, 1936 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania to Peter and Helen Kozeiski Burry. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, an Air Force veteran of the Korean and Vietnam War and a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Margie Boyd Burry, of North Little Rock; two sons, Stanley Peter Burry, Jr., of Ico and Stephen Hugh (Shirley) Burry, Sr., of Gravel Ridge; two grandchildren, Stephen Hugh Burry, Jr. and Mindy Michelle Burry; two brothers, Robert and Peter Burry, of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Bernadine Burry and Barbara (Jackie) Kopko, of Pennsylvania; aunt, Stella Banas, of Pennsylvania; uncle, Chester (Jean) Powlowski, of Siloam Springs; and many other relatives.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., Sunday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
