Stanley Eugene Dempsey

Stanley Eugene Dempsey, 62, of Benton, Arkansas passed away April 18, 2023.  He was born January 3, 1961 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Claudi Dempsey and the late Patsy (Moseley) Dempsey.

Stanley loved his family.  He put them above and beyond anything else he did in life.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and riding around.  Many of his friends called him the “Deer Whisperer”.  Stanley never met a stranger.  He always put everyone before himself and made sure everyone was having fun at whatever they were doing.   If others were happy, he was happy.

Stanley was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Dempsey; and brothers, Rocky Dempsey and Gary Dempsey.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of forty-five years, Denise Dempsey; daughter, Crystal (Craig) Roberts;  Brothers: Roger Dempsey and William (Leona) Dempsey; grandchildren:  Aspen, Austin, Andin, and Autumn; and a host of family and friends who love Stanley and will miss him always.

Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00-3:00 PM on Thursday, April 27, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.
