Stanley Dowell McCaslin, Sr.

Stanley McCaslin, Sr., age 85, of Hot Springs, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021.

He was born on January 8, 1936, the son of Emmett L. McCaslin and Lucille Maddox McCaslin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ima McCaslin; his parents; two sons, Jerry Wayne McCaslin and Roger Dale McCaslin; a special friend, Rita Whisenhunt; a great-granddaughter, Isbelle Lillan Jo Bassham; a great-grandson, Bentley Cole Terry; and three brothers, Authur Ray McCaslin, Ralph McCaslin and John McCaslin.

Stanley owned and operated a service station and convenience store and then later was an over-the-road truck driver for many years. He was a hardworking man, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother who truly loved his family with all of his heart.

He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley McCaslin, Jr. and LaDonna of Royal, Emmett and Paula McCaslin of Royal and Larry and Penny McCaslin of Magnet Cove; three daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Freddy Helwig of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, Mary and Mark Terry of Hot Springs, and Hope and Johnny Roach of Hot Springs; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Howard McCaslin of Lancaster, California and Shelby McCaslin of Nevada; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Sarah Hale and Martha and Gale Ferrell all of Royal; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 10, 2021, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Bro. George Lynch officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Interment will be in McDowell Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Zach Wesolowski, Nicholas Wesolowski, Bradley Wesolowski, Allen terry, Stanley McCaslin and Tommy McCaslin.
