Stella Hopper Vanvleet

Stella Hopper Vanvleet, age 95, of Hot Springs, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022.

She was born on January 24, 1927, in Montgomery County, the daughter of Thomas Reynolds and Josephine Carter Reynolds. She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Dearl Hopper; one daughter, Ernest Stella Hopper; two sisters, Jicie Weatherford and Bernice Tigue; and three brothers, Joe Reynolds, Jr. Reynolds and Floyd Reynolds.

Stella was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by one son, Earl Hopper; one daughter, Eudena Allen; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mattie Bell Bowling and Odell Bowling; one brother, Amos Reynolds; nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 9, 2022, with Bro. Jerry Stewart officiating in the Smith Family Funeral Home, Glenwood. (Formerly known as Davis-Smith Funeral Home).

Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, prior to the service.

Pallbearers are Dean Allen, Timmy Allen, Wayne Honeycutt, Wyatt Barker, Tracy Hopper and James Allen.
