Stephen McCuin, age 57, passed away on February 24, 2026. He was born on October 8, 1968, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to John “Jack” McCuin and Agnes McCuin.

Stephen graduated in 1987 from Sylvan Hills High School, where he formed lifelong friendships and earned the nickname “Dough,” a name many of his friends continued to call him over the years. He built a career doing what he loved, working in the electrical and automotive industry.

Cars were a lifelong passion for Stephen, especially hot rods. He enjoyed working on them himself and never hesitated to help his friends and family to fix what needed attention. Outside of work, he enjoyed playing casual golf and spending time at the family lake house in Greers Ferry. He also loved riding four wheelers and side-by-sides around the neighborhood and at the lake.

Stephen was preceded in death by his father, John “Jack” McCuin (2017) and his nephew Jordan McCuin (2021). He is survived by his mother, Agnes McCuin of Sherwood, Arkansas; his children, Ty McCuin of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Emma McCuin of North Little Rock, Arkansas; his brother, Danny McCuin of Little Rock, Arkansas; his sister-in-law, Debbie McCuin of Little Rock, Arkansas; his nephew, Keeton McCuin of Little Rock, Arkansas; the mother of his children, Angie McCuin of North Little Rock, Arkansas; as well as many cousins and extended family members.
