Sterling Western Jones

Sterling Western Jones, 78, of Benton, Arkansas, went to be with his Heavenly Father on August 13, 2026. Sterling was born April 1, 1948, to the late Charle and Viola Eatman Jones in Bauxite, Arkansas.

Sterling is Pentecostal by faith. He loved fishing, hunting, and music of all kind. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Sterling is preceded in death by the love of his life, best friend, and wife of twenty sic years, Sandra Jones; his brother, Billy L. Jones; as well as his sister, Dorothy J. Joslin. He is survived by two children: daughter, Elizabeth Ann Kirk, of Texarkana, Texas, and son Joe Godwin and his wife, Crystal, and their children of Hot Springs; three grandchildren: Bryce T., Jacklynn, and Kennedy Smith, all of Texarkana, Texas; brother, Michial Lynn Jones and his wife Norma Faye and their family of Bauxite.
