Steven Lynn Foshee, Sr., 72, passed away on September 24, 2025. Born April 13, 1953, in Bakersfield, California, Steven was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose presence brought joy to everyone who knew him.
Steven worked for many years as both a welder and a truck driver, providing for his family with a tireless work ethic and quiet determination. He also proudly served in the United States Army as a certified sharpshooter and water supply specialist, earning the National Defense Service Medal.
Those who knew Steven will remember his lively personality and many passions. A true Razorback fan, he rarely missed a game, and he never turned down an episode of Star Trek. He had a gift for fixing just about anything and never hesitated to lend a hand to anyone who needed help.
Family meant everything to Steven. He especially loved time spent with his grandchildren—Zachery Dixon, Shea Dixon, Caden McIntire, and Kylee Garrett—and his great-grandchildren, Lucas Raper II and Frances Dixon. Whether gathered around a BBQ or sharing family dinners, those were the moments he cherished most. He also found peace outdoors, where camping and fishing trips became treasured memories.
Steven leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years, Darlene Foshee; his children, Tonya Blair and Steven Lynn Foshee, Jr.; and his brother, James Adams. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margie Adams, and siblings Ronnie Adams, Barbara Taylor, Ricky Adams, and Phyllis Adams.
Steven will be remembered for his love of family, his generosity, and the countless ways he touched the lives of those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
