Sue "Susie" Dennis

Sue Dennis, of Bauxite, passed away October 15, 2024. She was born August 13, 1945, in Nashville, Arkansas to T.G. Scoggin and Dorothy Jean Lower Scoggin. She was a graduate of Little Rock Central High School. Following graduation, she worked for the Little Rock School District in the cafeteria as a baker and also for the State of Arkansas with the DMV as a Title Clerk, but her favorite job was being a mom and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Dennis; parents; brothers, Michael Scoggin, Bruce Scoggin; and a daughter, Kimberly Ray Dennis.

Sue is survived by her daughter Michelle Hause (Chad); granddaughter Ruby Hause (who she also shared a birthday with); a nephew Bruce Scoggin (Loren) and their three children; two sisters-in-law, Versie Burch, Dorothy Railey; brother in law Bob Dennis (Peggy); a cousin, Patricia Womack (Bill); and a host of many extended family, nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
