Sue Hughes age 81 of the Manchester Community near Arkadelphia died Friday, October 1, 2010 in Little Rock. She was born October 30, 1928 in Clark County the daughter of George Floyd and Ethel Tunnicliff McCaskill. She was a member of the Extension Homemakers Club and the Manchester United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles Ray, Virgil Lamar, James Allen and Johnny McCaskill.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years Glen Hughes, four sons Ronald Lee Gronewald of California, James Floyd McCaskill of Arkadelphia, Glen Allen McCaskill of Clarksville, TN, and Gary Wayne McCaskill of Illinois, two daughters, Ronda Lynn Lamanske of Springdale, AR and Jamie Loraine Bell of Phoenix, AZ, four sisters, Joyce Palla and Alice Dickey both of Arkadelphia, Wanda Hamm and Vickie Stevenson both of Malvern, 18 grandchildren and one great grandson.
Graveside funeral services will be 2 PM Monday, October 4, 2010 in the Atchley Cemetery with Rev. George Whitney, Rev. Travis Langley and Rev. Matthew Stevenson officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Sunday at the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral home in Arkadelphia.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Manchester United Methodist Church or the Atchley Cemetery.
