Susan Kay Gannon Milne

Susan Kay Gannon Milne, born on May 11, 1942, in Horton, Kansas, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026, leaving behind a cherished legacy of devotion and love. Susan touched the lives of all who knew her. She was raised in Hiawatha, Kansas and always considered that home.

She is survived by her sons, Todd Milne (Jackie) of San Tan Valley, Arizona and Gannon Milne (Wendy) of Brookhaven, Georgia. Susan’s pride and joy were her grandsons, Wilson and Lawson (Elizabeth). Her warm and steady influence will be felt by them throughout their lives.

While Susan’s passing is mourned deeply, she is reunited with loved ones who preceded her, including her father, Cecil Gannon, her mother, Phyllis Gannon, her sister, Mary Loyd, her brother-in-law, Curt Loyd, and her nieces, Becky and Rachel. Their memories together are treasured by those who remain.

The family will receive friends at a visitation on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home (8801 Knoedl Ct.). A memorial service to celebrate Susan’s life will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM, also at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at 2:30 PM at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church (1000 N Mississippi St.).

Susan Kay Gannon Milne’s life was a beacon of love and strength for her family and all who knew her. She leaves an enduring legacy and memories that will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
