Suzanne Deaton Currey age 71 of Curtis died Friday, September 7, 2012. She was born December 29, 1940 in Nevada County the daughter of Royal and Corinne "Cissye" Thomas Deaton. She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Curtis Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen A. Currey.
Survivors include two sons, Brett Currey and his wife Rendi of Arkadelphia, and Michael Currey and his wife Lynda of Benton, one daughter, Katye Halliday and her husband Phillip of Curtis, her mother, Corinne "Cissye" Deaton of Arkadelphia, one sister, Janie Shirey of Little Rock, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be 10 AM Tuesday in the Richwoods Cemetery with Jeremy Bell officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
Memorials may be made to Richwoods Cemetery or Group Living of Arkadelphia.
