Sybill Anne (Squires) Bowden, 61, of Benton, Arkansas died on Thursday surrounded by her family. Sybill was born February 4, 1955 to the late Ernest H. and Flossie (Sanders) Squires in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Sybill was a truly amazing person in so many ways. Because of her strong Faith she was able to be a true example to everyone on what a "Proverbs 31" wife meant. She naturally knew the importance of being a good wife, best friend and even business partner; she knew and understood the importance of being a mother that lead by example and did it the effortlessly, she was her three children's hero because of her tender heart, willingness to always find the good in any situation and could challenge you to be the best you could be through her example, she was a warrior that was truly selfless in all ways, a true servants heart. Sybill will best be remembered by her ability to overcome any bad situations through her constant smile and inspiring attitude, both as a jokester and her kind loving heart.
Sybill was preceded in death by her husband and one love of forty-three years David Bowden; one granddaughter: Brandilynn Bowden and one grandson: Robert James Teague; One brother: Joe Ray Squires and wife Evelena and one sister: Ernistene Squires Nugent. She is survived by her three children: Michael Bowden and wife Liz of Little Rock; William Bowden of East End and daughter: Becky Teague and husband Bobby of Benton; six grandchildren: James Barnett, Peyton Bowden, Andrew Bowden, Autumn Bowden, Samantha Teague and Jimmy Teague; Two brothers: Bobby Squires and wife Kay of North Little Rock and Jimmy Squires and wife Sandra of Searcy; One sister: Dorothy Mills and husband James of Sturgis, Mississippi
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Smith-Benton Funeral Home Chapel, Funeral services on Wednesday at !0:00 AM Mission by the Creek Church with burial directly following with Pastor Perry Black.
