Syble Wear

Syble E. Wear, age 88, passed away August 30, 2013 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. She was born on April 29, 1925 in Perry County, AR.
Syble is survived by 3 daughters; Judith Moore of Fort Smith, Carole McGrath and husband "Butch" of Fayetteville, TN, and Diane Sheridan and husband Mike of Benton, AR; along with 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Hugh and Zelphia Alverson, 4 sisters, 2 brothers, and her husband of 62 years, Leon Wear.
Syble enjoyed sewing, canning vegetables, and playing a variety of card games. When family would visit, you would often find the ladies on the back sun porch playing Rook and laughing into the early morning hours. When summer came, you would likely find her and Pop sitting on the swing snapping or shelling beans in preparation for canning. On Sundays, you would hear her sweet voice singing the hymns she loved where she and Leon attended church at Apostolic Tabernacle in Benton. Syble dearly loved the company of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
