Sylvia Faye Hughes age 80 of Midway died Friday, November 21, 2008 in Arkadelphia. She was born December 2, 1927, the daughter of Delbert and Olive Delle Vanderslice Beaty. She was a housewife and a Jehovah's Witness. She was the widow of Garrett Hughes.
Survivors are two sons, Robert and Thomas Hughes both of Prescott, three daughters, Linda Ray of Midway, Betty Ogden of Arkadelphia, and Gloria Rogers of North Little Rock, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Monday in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel and burial in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-4 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
