Tammy Waldrum, age 44, of Amity, died Saturday, July 28, 2012. She was born on January 30, 1968 at Murfreesboro, the daughter of Alice Nutt Gann Poarch and Lyle Gann. On February 2, 1986, she was married to Tommy Waldrum. Tammy graduated from Amity High School and attended Henderson State University where she received a degree of Bachelors of Science in Education. She was a special education teacher with Lake Hamilton High School. She was a member of the Amity First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Tommy Waldrum; two children and their spouses, Lindsey and Kendahl Fant and Joshua and Sarah Waldrum; two special granddaughters, Kylee and Allyson Fant; her parents, Alice and Larry Poarch; her father, Lyle Gann; her brother, Terry Gann and his wife, Tracey; her sister, Tasha Davis and her husband, Matt, all of Amity; and two nieces, two nephews, two uncles, two aunts and numerous cousins. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 31, 2012 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood with Bro. John McAnally officiating. Interment will be in Jones Cemetery in Amity. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Dusty Skates, Rick Carroll, Wilmar Perez, Tracy Spears, Dennis Hawthorne and Hunter McGough. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Michael Behesti, Cameron Kitchens, Brock Henthorn, Jarred Henthorn, David Kitchens and Jeff Kitchens. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
