Teddy Kelly

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Ted Kelly, aged 85, a beloved resident of Cabot, Arkansas. He peacefully departed from this earthly realm on December 1, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on June 6, 1938, in Joplin, Missouri, Ted was the treasured son of Clarence and Margaret Kelly, and his presence brought joy to all who knew him.

Ted's unwavering commitment to his country was exemplified through his honorable service in the United States Air Force for 20 years. He served with distinction, embodying the values of loyalty, courage, and selflessness. Ted's dedication to his military associations was unwavering, and he proudly served during the Vietnam War, bravely defending the freedoms we hold dear. Beyond his military service, Ted found solace and happiness in various hobbies. He enjoyed the tranquility of fishing and spent his retirement years perfecting his golf swing. In his younger days, he excelled in the sports of bowling and pool, showcasing his skill and competitive spirit. Ted's quick wit and sense of humor, often expressed through his mastery of sarcasm, endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him

Ted's greatest joy in life was his family. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Susan, and a loving father to his children: Lorri Lee (David), Teddy Kelly (Jessica) Reeta Burton (Richard), Kris Kelly (Veronika), and stepdaughter Julie Patrick (Jeff). He was a pillar of strength and support to his siblings Ronnie Kelly (Mary), Sharon Farley (Jim), and Judi Seymour (Don). Ted also leaves behind sister-in-law Linda Kelly, first wife and family friend Becky Youngs, who held a special place in his heart. His 19 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren were a source of immense pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Gerald, Jimmy, Jerry, and Dennis Kelly.
