Teresa "Cricket" Weeks, age 72, of Norman, died Friday, May 11, 2012. She was born on April 17, 1940, in Morton, Mississippi, the daughter of Benjamin Marks and Ida Bell Marks. She was preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughter, Aubrielle Cogburn; and her brother, Bill Marks. Cricket was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. She was Baptist in her faith and a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Terrell Weeks of Norman; two daughters, Deborah Lynn Weeks and Darlene Weeks, both of Norman; six grandchildren, Michelle Lake, Laura Plunkett, Jessika Weeks, Jerry Hamner Jr., Jennifer Wheeler and Jeremy Wayne Hamner; seven great-grandchildren, Brandi, Erica, Azzylynn, Walter, Madilynn, Laurynn and Henry "Tray"; two great-great-grandchildren, Dylan and Gaven; one brother, Marty Marks of New Mexico; one sister, Juanita Maestas of New Mexico; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 14, 2012, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Brian Adair officiating.
