Teresa Louise Speers, age 58, peacefully passed away on June 11, 2024, while working in Wyoming. She was born on July 31, 1965, to T. Duane Rowland and Phyllis Hammonds Bryant, and later adopted by Carl L. Bryant. Teresa is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Jeffery D. Rowland; and her sister, Stacey Rowland Hamner.
In her early days, Teresa attended Fountain Lake School in Hot Springs, she then went on to marry her beloved husband, Anthony Speers on September 30, 1989. She did long haul trucking for over 20 years and enjoyed traveling the country from coast to coast. Most recently, she was a dedicated, respected, and loved team member with Baggett Transportation. Teresa was always thinking of others and how she could help them have a better day. If she was thinking of you, she was buying something for you. It could be a new shirt, a toy for one of the kiddos, or some used boots; she made sure to deliver. She was also the best “sleep” shopper ever. Teresa loved chatting with friends and family, watching “Alaskan” anything, eating popcorn, and wrestling with her fur babies. She leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by her family and friends.
Teresa is survived by her husband of over 34 years, (Anthony) Tony Speers, and her fur babies, Trixie and Peanut. She will forever be missed by her siblings, Tonya Bryant and Kimberly Bryant, both of Hot Springs Village; Shawn (Ginger) Rowland of Glenwood; Bruce (Joy) Rowland of Arkadelphia; Debbie (Steve) Lambert of Amity; Wanda (Jimmy) Jones of Glenwood; and so many treasured nieces and nephews.
Teresa will be remembered for her unwavering loyalty to her family and friends and missed by all who knew her, she is irreplaceable.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Bennett, Colby Brock, Kyle Hamilton, Dallas Smith, Shawn Rowland, Bruce Rowland, Jeffery Abbott, and Travis Graves.
