Terri Stroh

Terri Stroh, a beloved soul with a vibrant spirit, passed away on October 2, 2023. She had a clever sense of humor, brightening the days of many people. Terri had an unwavering commitment to sobriety for 35 years as a friend of Bill W. As an avid woodworker, her intelligence, attention to detail, and love of wood can be seen in all her creations. Terri loved a day of catch and release fishing and kayaking in the beauty of nature. Terri advocated for the LGBT community by supporting the community, working helplines and taking part in Pride events. Animal rescue agencies in more than one state benefitted from her generosity of spirit. With Terri’s help numerous dogs found a better life in their forever homes.

Terri was born on June 15th, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio, the youngest of Richard and Margaret Stroh’s four children.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Mark Stroh, aunts, uncles and fur babies.

Her wife and soulmate Kristin Kiesewetter Stroh held a special place in Terri's heart. Together they embarked on countless adventures, facing life's challenges hand-in-hand. She is also survived by her brother Michael Stroh and his wife, Wilma and her sister and friend, Martha Stroh.  In addition to her immediate family, Terri leaves behind fur children Kindle, Tabasco, and Sipsey; many cousins and precious friends.

As we celebrate Terri's beautifully lived life, let us remember with gratitude the warmth she brought. May her legacy continue to inspire us to embrace humor in every situation, stand beside our loved ones through thick and thin, and find solace in the joy of creating with our hands. Terri’s imprint on our lives will last forever.
