Terry Dennis
Terry Michael Dennis, 62, of Little Rock, son of June Dennis and the late Norman E. Dennis, died Friday, March 22, 2013. Born in Springfield, Missouri on January 30, 1951, he is survived by his mother; his partner, Morgan James; his sister and niece, Pamela and Lindsay Greenwood of Charlotte, North Carolina; and an extended family.
Terry was an active member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir and led the drama department, "Center Stage", along with his partner, Morgan James. Terry and Morgan were co-owners of the custom frame shop, "Work of Art" in Little Rock for more than 18 years. Terry was passionate about the Theatre and loved dogs, "parenting" his beloved Westie, Riley. In his earlier years, he enjoyed a professional singing and acting career with such notable achievements as performing the sign-off for Channel 11 for several years and singing at the Mrs. Arkansas pageant.
Services will be Wednesday, March 27 at 1:00 p.m. at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to "Center Stage" at PHUMC or to the Humane Society of Pulaski County.
The family wishes to deeply thank family and friends for their continued prayers for Terry. He will be missed beyond words and will be forever in their hearts.
