Terry Lee Helms
Terry Lee Helms, age 70, of Norman, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
He was born in Mount Ida on April 19, 1956. He was the son of Wylie Lee Helms and Lena Mae Alexander Helms.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brother Gary Helms, nephew Casey Helms, and niece Mary Daugherty.
Terry was a true outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, and watching football. Most of all he loved being with his family, especially his triplet brothers.
He is survived by his siblings, June (Doyne) Alexander of Norman, GW (Colleen) Helms of Mount Ida, Linda (Bob Illing) Todd of Little Rock, Larry (Cheri) Helms of Norman, Alice Diggs of Hot Springs, and Janet (Roger) VanDeest of Hatfield; his dog, Roxanne, and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
The family will be holding a memorial service on Sunday, November 8th at 3:00 PM at Norman City Hall.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home - Glenwood.
