Thelma Barnett

Thelma A. Mobley Barnett, of Mabelvale, entered her heavenly home on March 20th, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.H. and Bertha Mobley and her daughter, Connie Gale Barnett, and 9 brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 68.5 years, Hollis Seth Barnett; sons, Hollis Ray Barnett (Suzanne) of Valdosta, Georgia and Dr. Don Barnett (Jane) of Bryant, Arkansas; grandchildren, Connie Dowell (Steve), Kate Veenhuizen (Scott), Sarah and Hannah Barnett, and 6 great-grandchildren. Thelma was a Cosmetologist for over 50 years and an impeccable seamstress. She enjoyed her flower garden and spending time with her family. She was a member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM Friday, March 26, 2021 at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will immediately follow at 1:30 PM. Interment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas.

Memorials can be made in Thelma’s name to the Arkansas Alzheimer’s Association or UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute. Arrangements by Smith Family Funeral Home.
