Thelma Shaw Sparks age 87 of Arkadelphia went to be with her Lord and family that went before her May 4, 2011. She was born February 7, 1924 the daughter of W. D. and Zera North Shaw. She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Sparks, one son, David "Hawk" Shaw, two daughters Nancy and Kathy Sparks and 13 brothers and sisters. She was the last of a generation.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Faulknor and Patti Hutton both of Arkadelphia, six grandchildren, Chris Shaw, Sheryl Shaw Jones, Jason Bright, Lacee Hutton, Matthew Hutton, and Holli Faulknor, and 5 great grandchildren
Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with Rev. Johnny Jackson officiating. Burial will be in the Degray Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
