Thelma Thomas

Thelma (Meeks) Thomas, 83, of Ward, Arkansas, formerly of Pine Bluff, died May 29, 2011. She was retired from Southwestern Bell and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a loving Christian mother and faithful member of the Cabot Bible Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Thomas. Thelma is survived by three sons, Patrick Thomas and wife Maribeth of Louisville, Kentucky, Jet Thomas and wife Dawn of Springfield, Illinois, Bob Thomas and wife Debbie of Good Hope, Georgia; three daughters, Marsha Howell and husband Mike of Rapid City, South Dakota, Cathy Mustain of Clarksville, Arkansas, and Tomy Hughes and husband Ken of Harker Heights, Texas; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one sister, JhoAnne Petty of Watson Chapel, Arkansas.
Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Graveside service will be 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Holly Springs Cemetery near Star City.
