Thelma Tucker
Thelma Tucker, age 84, of Austin was born September 10, 1928 to Thurman and Mattie (Duvall) Ellis. She was an amazing and awesome wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Thelma had a "green thumb" and a love for growing things and sharing things, especially her homemade cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and four sisters.
Thelma is survived by her husband of sixty one years, Bennie Tucker of Austin; three sons, Kenneth Tucker and wife, Linda of Judsonia, Mike Tucker and wife, Vicky of Austin, Ronald Tucker and wife, Karen of Austin; one daughter, Tammie Rogers of Austin; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; three brothers, Charles Ellis, Donald Ellis, David Ellis; two sisters, Marie Buie and Vernie Lou Carter.
Memorials may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 in Thelma's honor.
Family will receive friends Monday December 17, 2012 at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, Arkansas from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Graveside Services will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville.
