Theodore "Big Bear" Sky-Eagle, Sr. passed away April 23, 2011, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Ted was born January 27, 1932 to William Ambrose Sky-Eagle and Louretta May Hill Sky-Eagle. He was a member of Oak Grove Assembly of God Church. He was also a licensed minister with the Pentecostal Church of God. Ted was also a member of the LittleTraverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians.
Ted is survived by his wife, Lois Marie Farrow Sky-Eagle; 2 sons Theodore Sky-Eagle, Jr., Robert Daniel Sky-Eagle; 4 daughters Georgia Marie Wafer, Louretta Lee Eidt, Cheryl Sue Wafer and Patricia Diann Sky-Eagle Reedy; 13 grandchildren and 19great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son William Allen Sky-Eagle; 4 brothers and 8 sisters.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2011 at Peaceful Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matthews, Rev. Scotty Nalley and Rev. O.D. Crabtree officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 5pm to 7pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in New Summit Cemetery in Benton, Arkansas with Robert Sky-Eagle, Cody Sky-Eagle, Ken Oswalt, Claude Gibbs, Larry Farrow and Bob Farrow serving as pallbearers.
