Thomas “Tommy” Anthony Battisto,67, of Little Rock, passed away June, 8, 2026, after a 3-year heroic battle with cancer. Tommy passed at home surrounded in love by his family. Tommy was born November 28, 1958 to Faye and Tom Battisto.

Tommy is survived in death by his daughter, Magan Elizabeth Battisto and his son Justin Matthew Battisto. He is also survived by his 7 brothers and sisters and their spouses, Mike, Joe, Nikki (Brent), Rick (Beth), Frank (Barbara), Angie, and Ston (Julie). He is also survived by his four grandsons, numerous nieces & nephews, and his faithful dog Clifford!

Tommy was in the restaurant industry throughout his working career, and worked with Cajun’s Wharf, The Dixie Cafe, All About You Catering (as owner), and was Executive Chef at Andover Place until he retired in 2022 . After retirement he felt really blessed that Samantha’s Tap Room & Wood Grill allowed him to work part time as he went through his cancer treatments for the last 3 years.

Tommy was an avid golfer, fishermen, and an amazing athlete throughout his life. He was a legend on the baseball and softball fields throughout Little Rock. He also enjoyed his many trips to Oaklawn, especially with his dearest friend Norma Madden. After her passing in 2021 he continued to carry Norma’s picture with him to Oaklawn throughout the remainder of his life because she brought him luck. Norma’s daughter, Karen and her husband Mike, fulfilled one of his bucket list items in 2025 by taking him to Las Vegas. Karen and Mike Turner were truly guardian angels on earth for Tommy with their love and generosity.

Tommy firmly believed that everything in life happens for a reason. Tommy did not let cancer stop him from doing the things in life he loved to do, nor did he ever complain about his terminal diagnosis and the incredibly difficult battle he fought. He lived his life with positivity and helped uplift those around him. He will forever be loved and missed!

In lieu of flowers, Tommy asked that everyone be kind to each other and spread positivity throughout your life in his honor.
