Thomas Edward Brune, 80, of North Little Rock died on Wednesday, December 17, 2008. He was born December 16, 1928 in Kansas City, Kansas. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Chemical Engineering, was a Korean War Veteran, and worked for Remington Arms Sporting Ammunition retiring in 1990. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, golf, and boating.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Hazel Brune of Kansas City, Kansas and a son, David Brune, of Avilla, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Donna Mae Inlow Brune; brother, Raymond Brune, of Maitland, Florida; his children, Donna Lee Daly and her husband, Colonel (ret.) John Daly, of Papillion, Nebraska and Dennis Brune and his wife, Jan, of Trumann, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Marc Brune, Paul Brune, Trisha Palmer, Tina Brune, Scott Brune, Caitlyn Brune, Michael Daly and Jennifer Daly; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.
