Whether in the ring, in service to his country, or in his everyday life, Thomas faced challenges head-on with grit and perseverance.
He enjoyed attending church at Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church, where he faithfully supported and worked at the church food pantry. He also treasured simple joys, including doing chair yoga alongside his beloved wife, Debbie.
