Thomas Edwin "Tommy" Morris

Thomas Edwin “Tommy” Morris 70, of No. Little Rock, AR. went to his Heavenly Home on Sunday January 29^th 2023.

Tommy was born March 23^rd 1952, in Little Rock, AR. and was the son of late Emma Louise and Sid “Red” Morris.

We talked freely many times, especially at the end of his time about how mom promised to meet us all at Heavens Gate. He often talked of Daddy, Mom, Bobby and Jessie playing their guitars and piano at his home coming celebration.

During his last hours, he looked up, watching the Holy Angels. We talked about how Mom and Grandma would be baking. When the pies and chocolate cake came out of the oven and the banana pudding was finished, Tom went to his new home, he was ready,  “The Celebration Was On”.

Tommy most recently resided at the Cavalier Nursing Home in England, AR where he found a true second family and his first only true love, “Teresa”. Finally he was truly happy. He loved them all so much, especially his Teresa; and they all loved him back.

He is survived by his sisters: Deborah Mansour (Emad) North Little Rock, AR. Bonnie Lawrence (David) Sandy, OR. Judy Hatcher (Larry) Scott, AR., Debra Morris as well as many nieces, nephews, great- nieces/nephews, cousins, and other special family members.

A visitation will be held at Smith Family Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. North Little Rock, AR 72114, (501) 758-1170 on Thursday, February 09^th, 2023 from 5:00 -7:00 p.m.

Burial will be held at the Veterans National Cemetery located at 2523 Springer Blvd., Little Rock, AR 72206 on Friday, February 10^th at 11:30 a.m. (Please sign the guest book)

Flowers may be sent to Smith Funeral Home; donations can be made to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital.
