Tom McIntyre was born April 18, 1920 in Barlow, Kentucky to Floyd McIntyre and Cora Logsdon. Tom was one of 5 boys including Clarence, James, Lloyd, and JL and one girl, his sister Mary Moody. All of these preceded him in death. Tom is survived by his children Tom McIntyre, Tom Jones, Tom Yonts and Steve Yonts, his bride of 22 years Virginia, his 4 grandchildren Leslie Ambs, Nik Jones, Tommy McIntyre, Jennifer Farris, 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Tom was a Navy aviation mechanic in the Pacific and then ran a service station for 38 years in Jackson, Michigan. In his retirement he was "Mayor" of Bonnerdale, holding court in the Bonnerdale store daily at 5 am. He passed away January 22, 2013. Memorial services will be held by the family at 2:00 PM, Saturday, at the Bonnerdale Seventh Day Adventist Church with a celebration of his life to immediately follow, also at the church.
