Thomas Wingfield
Thomas Abram Wingfield age 93, of the Center Ridge community near Gurdon, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 in Arkadelphia. He was born April 2, 1924 to the late J. D. and Clara Cockrell Wingfield. Thomas was a member of South Fork Baptist Church.
In his earlier years, he owned and operated a sawmill, worked with National Gypsum plant and retired from the Arkansas Highway Department.
He is survived by his wife of seventy-four years, Leola "Tommijean" Lamb Wingfield; two daughters, Brenda and Daphna; two brothers, Phillip and Ray Neil; grandsons, Darren, John Thomas and Joe Paul; granddaughters, Deana and Kristi; great-grandsons, Chase, Tyler and Dylan; and great-granddaughters, Katelyn and Anna.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, James and David; sisters, Mary Alice, Marjory, Wanda and Dixie.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 Am Friday, March 2, 2018 at Center Ridge Cemetery near Gurdon with Rev. Willard Zeiser officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
