Timmy Joe Pate

Timmy Joe Pate, age 62, of Mountain Pine, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025.

He was born on May 26, 1962, in Murfreesboro. He was the son of Jack Pate and Alline Kizer. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his stepfather, Archie Parker.

Timmy worked for many years as a carpenter for TJ's Carpentry. He loved being part of the A1 Deer Camp. His favorite things to do were to hunt, run dogs, and fish. Most of all he loved being with his grandchildren. Timmy was a loving dad, papaw, brother, and friend and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his four daughters, Brandi Pate of Glenwood, Candice (Jarod) Hull of Poyen, Tiffany Dickerson (Michael Perry) of Glenwood, and Cheryl (Andy) Sliger of Hot Springs; his eight grandchildren, Bentleigh, Bristol, Brayden, Halee, Ryker, Courtland, Megan, and Kay; his one great-grandchild on the way; his four siblings, James Pate, Troyce Parker, Shelly Edwards, and Karen Mayberry; his stepbrother, Benny Parker; the mother of his children, Debbie Pate; and his many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Terry Gann, Terry Taylor, Allan Hall, Spooke Milam, Tracy Spears, and Bubba Spears. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, prior to services from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Smith Family Funeral Home- Glenwood.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ben Derrick officiating.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home- Glenwood.
