Timothy Rapes
Timothy Rapes, 72, of Sherwood passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014. He was born December 31, 1941 in Atlanta, Georgia to William Austin Rapes and Marlin Jewell Stewart Rapes Parris. He served in the United States Marines Corps for 20 years where he retired. Timothy worked as a civilian contractor for the United States Air Force as troop trainer. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam where he received two purple hearts.
He is survived by his sisters, Theresa Lucas of Little Rock, Susan Parris of Sherwood, his brother, Harry E. "Butch" Parris (Gail) of Fayetteville, GA and an Aunt, Wanda Stewart of Minden, LA.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 8th, at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
