Tom Vernon (Buddy) Morrison, age 90, of El Paso, Arkansas passed away January 7, 2018.
He was a retired Federal employee with forty-two years service at Fort Roots Veteran's Administration Hospital, as well as, a life-long White County cattleman and a dairy farmer of twenty plus years. Buddy proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army and was honorably discharged on September 10, 1946.
Buddy is survived by his four children; son, Tommy Ray Morrison; daughters, Mary Ruth Morrison, Jane Taylor-Jones and Carolyn Sue Favell; two sisters, Geraldine Russell and Opal Beall; along with many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of forty-seven years, Lavern Morrison.
In lieu of flowers you may honor Buddy was a tax-deductible donation to American Parkinson Disease Association, www.apdaparkinson.org
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Sixteenth Section Cemetery with burial to follow.
